My Story

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always had a love affair with vintage. I remember my Grandmother's Black Forest cuckoo clock in her living room, her salt and pepper   collection, and the Hummel collection my other Grandmother had.

In the 90's I started going to auctions and estate sales ~  buying and selling art glass and pottery, as well as working  a full-time job. I loved the thrill of the hunt!

In 2015 I made the decision to step away from my career as a decorator to follow my dream of designing beautiful, high-quality home decor.

My work has evolved over the years, and I have to say that this is the best career move I have ever made.

Working as a solopreneur is not easy. The hours are much longer than if I worked for someone else, but I have the satisfaction of knowing that my customers always speak directly to me, never an outside source. I love the relationships that I have formed through this business, and I wouldn't want it any other way. I believe that your decor should be as unique as your home. I hope that my designs speak to you and help you decorate your home with the style and nostalgia that you love.

What is Vintage-inspired?

At Olive Branch Farmhouse, vintage-inspired means that each canvas sign is uniquely designed by me to look a little grungy and rusty, or cracked and peeling with age, just like the ones you would find in Granddad's barn or Aunt Hazel's attic. My canvas signs are a reminder of simpler times, and are at home paired with thrifted finds or family heirlooms.
